Artist Statement about the Supreme Court decision to uphold DACA:

Undocumented folks have the right to thrive and not have to live in fear of being deported and having their lives ripped away from them. As someone who comes from a family of Palestinian refugees, I understand the intergenerational trauma of forced displacement. I'm in awe at the resilience and power of the undocumented folks who risk everything to stand up for their rights. This victory, along with our country's uprising for Black Lives Matter, bring hope in a more equitable world and brighter future for us all.
