Bellaliz is an asylum seeker, a recovery worker, and an essential worker.
She has helped rebuild American communities after natural disasters, and most recently helped with the recovery of a hospital in Midland, MI after the severe flooding. She has often contending with unsafe working conditions and wage violations. Most recently, she was exposed to COVID19 after lack of protection and negligence on the part of her employers.

This is not how we should treat our Essential Workers.
